This Board is comprised of deputy ministers of the provincial government, members of the Northern New Brunswick Leadership Council, representatives from the Conseil Économique du Nouveau-Brunswick and representatives of regional municipalities and it will address issues, track results and provide necessary direction to the economic development team.

With the Government of New Brunswick recently not recommending the provincial standardization or regulation of destination marketing fees or a hotel levy, the future of the DMF (Destination Marketing Fee) Steering Committee is uncertain at this point.
TIANB plays an active role in the coordination and management of the Best Practices program (CTBP). It is a program designed to expose private sector operators and representatives of sustainable tourism communities to successful tourism operators/entrepreneurs and outstanding products and create an environment of 'Competitiveness Through Best Practices.' .
