The Product Development Committee is a group of industry representatives who meet every month to share insights and information about what's being done and what needs to be done to ensure New Brunswick's competitiveness tourism-wise. Reports and recommendations from the committee are forwarded to decision makers.
As a result of the TIANB Governance review, an over haul of the Committee structure, role and responsibility has been implemented and new members were recruited based on specific recruitment criteria namely a proven background in tourism Product development, education and expertise as well as geographical and industry sector representation.
An Advisory Sub-Committee is to be established to review the New Brunswick Classification Program. Members interested to take part in this sub-committee are asked to communicate their interest to the TIANB Executive Director.
Industry concerns in relation to the confusion surrounding the (Inner Journey) Experience Collection were communicated to the TAP representative and every effort has been put in place to addressing the situation. The TIANB Product Development Committee will continue monitoring and propose recommendations as required.
