The Task Force Review of WorkSafeNB and TIANB are seeking your input on New Brunswick's worker's compensation system focusing on short term solutions and long term sustainability.
Employers are being billed +53% higher premiums from where the rates were just two years ago.
Unless the underlying causes driving increases in benefit costs are addressed, your assessment rates will continue to increase in 2019 and beyond. Without legislative changes restoring balance to benefit costs, New Brunswick could have the second highest benefit costs in Canada by the end of 2018.
Employers are strongly encouraged to submit your comments, examples of issues your business has experienced, and suggestions on ideas to improve the workers compensation.
The deadline for written submissions is December 7, 2017
**A submission can be as simple as an email or a letter outlining issues, ideas and suggestions.**
