Investing in a Brighter Tourism Future

TIANB Tourism Scholarship Program 2026

The Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick is proud to support the next generation of tourism leaders through its 2026 Tourism Scholarship Program.

Since establishing this scholarship in 2002, TIANB has invested in students who are passionate about building vibrant visitor experiences, strengthening communities, and shaping the future of New Brunswick’s tourism industry.

Four Scholarships of $2,000 Available

In 2026, TIANB will award four $2,000 scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary studies related to tourism, hospitality, and visitor economy careers.

Whether your passion lies in destination development, culinary tourism, accommodations, events, outdoor adventure, or hospitality leadership, this scholarship is designed to support your journey.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must be:

• Enrolled in, or accepted into, a recognized post-secondary undergraduate program related to tourism
• Attending an approved institution in New Brunswick
• Passionate about pursuing a future in the tourism industry

High school students entering a qualifying post-secondary program in fall 2026 are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Applicants are asked to submit:

• A 300–500 word essay titled:
  “Why I Want to Pursue a Career in the Tourism Industry”

As well as:

• Most recent transcript
• A professional portfolio (including résumé and supporting materials)
• Two letters of reference

Your portfolio may include schoolwork, certificates, achievements, volunteer involvement, or other materials that help showcase your strengths and aspirations.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the final selection process.

Application Deadline

June 1, 2026

Recipients will be announced in June 2026, with scholarship funds distributed before the start of the academic year in September.
