Miramichi, N.B., October 28, 2025 — Tourism representatives from across New Brunswick are heading to Miramichi this week for the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick’s (TIANB) annual Tourism Summit, which runs until October 30 at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel.

The event, which brings together nearly 150 partners, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, offers a rich and inspiring program focused on collaboration, innovation, and transformation of the provincial tourism industry.

"It is a great pleasure to work with our host city, Miramichi, and its partners to host our annual event. This summit is a unique opportunity to join forces, share ideas, and build the future of tourism in New Brunswick together," said Ginette Doiron, CEO of TIANB.

Over three days, participants will take part in a rich program combining workshops, panels, and training sessions on key tourism issues. Among the highlights, Peter Pilarski will discuss the potential of artificial intelligence in the sector, while Pierre Battah will explore the keys to leadership in times of change. The marketing firm VIVIFY will lead a workshop on developing a strong brand image, and Camille Derelle Aubut of Touriscope will present the latest trends in tourism.

At the same time, the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture will take the opportunity at the summit to present its new 2026-2031 tourism strategic plan, a decisive step in guiding the sector's priorities and vision for development in the coming years.
